Gate piers and gate to Merton Lodge

GV II

Gate piers and gate to Merton Lodge. Probably 1850s. Stuccoed
gate piers; timber gate. Octagonal piers with plinth and roll
moulding below oversailing 2-tier pyramidal caps. Timber gate
with chamfered cross-bracing and spike finials above the top
rail. Included for group value with Merton Lodge.
