GV II

2 semi-detached houses. c1840. Stucco with flat quoin
pilasters, slate roofs, brick stacks to gable ends and party
wall. Double-depth plan with single-storey side wings to each
side. 2 storeys; each house symmetrical 2-window range. No.8
to the right has a C20 three-light casement window with small
panes to a central dormer and a central C20 stucco, gabled
porch flanked by 6/6-pane sash windows; to the right, a small
single-storey flat-roofed shop has late C19 consoles to the
fascia. No.10 to the left has a C20 three-light casement
window to a dormer on the left and a central C20 gabled
rubblestone porch flanked by late C19 plate-glass sash
windows. The side wing has a very late C20 window. INTERIORS
not inspected.
