Orchard Chambers

GV II

House, now office. c1820. Render with limestone dressings,
brick gable stack and a pantile roof. Late Georgian style. 2
storeys; 2-window range. A parapeted front has a first-floor
sill band and cornice. Doorway left of centre has an eared,
battered surround, and 6-panel door. Full-height canted bay to
the right, 6/6-pane sashes. INTERIOR: central hall with a
semicircular arch to a left-hand dogleg winder stair with
stick balusters.
