Offices. c1870. Snecked rubblestone with ashlar dressings and
slate roof with rubblestone stacks to right gable end, ridge
and left front slope. Rectangular plan. Gothic Revival style.
2 storeys with attics; 3-window range. Sash windows with
trefoil heads to the upper sashes and 2 vertical glazing bars
to each sash. The central range rises to a gabled half dormer.
The door to the left has a labelled hoodmould over a frieze of
4 trefoil-headed panels and a pointed arch to the set-back
door. To the centre and right are tall pointed arches over
trefoil-headed plate glass shop windows.
The left return in Bancks Street has a similar central
half-dormer flanked by gables with similar windows over 4 to
the first floor; 5 shop windows to the ground floor are
similar to the those at the front. INTERIOR not inspected.
