Former end of terrace house with ground-floor shop, now
partially occupied by plating works. c.1820-1830.
Multi-coloured stock brick set in Flemish bond and wooden
shopfront; Welsh-slate mansard roof with dormers, left
party-wall brick stack. Ground-floor shop plan with house
entrance with staircase to upper floors in right-hand return
wall in Gloucester Way. Three storeys with attic, 2-window
range to front elevation plus 1-window range to right-hand
return. Ground-floor shop articulated by pilasters (end ones
console-bracketed): to right C19 panelled shop door with
rectangular overlight; to left four-light glazed shopfront
obscured by hoarding. Original fascia with projecting moulded
cornice. Return wall with two round-arched entrances: to
right, house entrance with fluted 1/4 column jambs, C20 door
and 3-light fanlight; to left, narrower blocked opening.
Gauged brick flat arches to upper 6/6 sashes: 1st floor
full-length sashes with Rococo style cast-iron window guards
to front elevation. Stone coping to plain brick parapet.
