Terraced houses. c.1840. White brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roof of no 4 obscured by parapet, that of no 6 Welsh
slate. Three and four storeys over basement, two windows each.
Ground floor and basement stuccoed, the ground floor decorated
with banded rustication. Round-arched entrance, that to no 4
in recessed single-storey porch set back to right, with
pilaster-jambs, cornice, fanlight with decorative glazing, and
panelled door of original design to no 6. Ground-floor windows
round-arched, stucco terminates at first-floor sill band.
Upper windows flat-arched with balconies to first floor.
Sashes of original design throughout. Brick dentil cornices,
perhaps of early C20 date; parapet. Mansard roof with two
dormers to no. 6. Cast-iron railings to area.
These houses have flat-roofed rear extensions to the basement
and ground floor, looking out over the Regent's Canal, with
two openings to the basement with four-centred arches, two
flat-arched windows to the ground floor with 6/6 sashes and
pointed-arched glazing in the upper sash, and an embattled
parapet.
