Single villa with later shopfront (no. 88) and l-storey
extension to left also with simpler shopfront (no. 90); both
now in domestic use. Of two builds, c.1840 with late C19
shopfronts. Beige stock bricks set in Flemish bond with stucco
ground-floors; Welsh-slate hipped projecting roof to villa but
extension obscured by parapet; brick end stacks to villa. No.
88 two-storeys; 3-window range; gauged brick flat arches with
6/6 sashes to 1st floor. Ground-floor shopfront of 4 unequal
architraved bays articulated by linked stucco piers with
moulded capitals. Round-arched entrance in far right bay: C20
panelled door with plain 2-light fanlight. Three shop windows
to left: original round-arched centre door changed to plain
glazed window c1980; flanking tripartite 6-light fixed windows
with flattened arches of unequal width and plain recessed
panels below. Dentilled stucco cornice to shopfront level. No.
90 one-storey; 2-window range. C20 door to right bay and
simple tripartite shop window to left. Moulded stucco cornice
and parapet. One attached curved iron gas lamp arm to each
building.
