Pair of houses.Dated 1835 on gables.Ashlar with slate roof.Two storeys with basement and attic,three bays to each house;central four bays project under two gables,with three panelled pilasters ending in gabled finials.End bays have cornice and panelled parapet.Windows have label moulds and are sashed,those to first floor and one to attic with glazing bars.Attic windows have four-centred heads.Gables have octagonal stone chimneys, central stone stack.Iron area railings with decorative heads and stone gate piers to front;stone wall with open arcade parapet to rear.No.2 has entrance in low castellated side porch,with label mould and four-panel door.Two cherub's heads under returns of cornice and shield with heraldic crest in gable.No. 4 has similar porch to recessed bay;complete overlight.
