House. Late C17 with later alterations. Plastered brick with
late C19 applied timber-framing; tile roof with plastered
stacks. 2-unit plan with rear wing. 2 storeys; 4-window range.
Windows have C20 casements with leaded glazing; entrance to
left of centre has plank door; squat stack to rear of roof
ridge; exposed brick dated: 1671. Right return has hipped
projection, probably for large fireplace (blocked), and
projecting end stack. Rear similar; entrance to gabled rear
wing. INTERIOR: room to right has chamfered beams and exposed
joists; large blocked fireplace to room to left; 1st floor
timber-framed cross wall with wind braces; right end
timber-framed gable and blocked fireplace.
