Clout's Memorial Hall

GV II

Office, originally a house and from 1908 an Institute. Early
C19 front to C18 building. Front stuccoed, sides red brick
with some grey headers. Steeply pitched slate roof to front,
tiled to L-wing. 2 storey: 3 windows. 12-pane sashes. Central
doorcase with flat wooden hood on brackets, pilasters,
6-fielded panelled door and rectangular fanlight with Gothick
glazing.
Interior has C18 winder staircase and C18 painted panelling
with dado rail.
