Inn. C18 coaching inn marked ESTABLISHED 1742, refenestrated
in mid C19. Painted brick to ground floor on deep painted
plinth, 1st floor roughcast. Old tiled roof hipped to
right-hand side. 2 storeys 5 windows. 2nd floor has 4 gabled
dormers with casements. 1st floor has 3 12-pane sashes in
moulded architraves. End windows are 2-storey splayed bays.
Ground floor has in addition to end splayed bay a further off,
centre one, a 12-pane sash and wide doorcase with cornice.
Interior has ceiling beams with lin chamfers and lamb's tongue
stops.
