Farmhouse. Early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond on blue brick
plinth with red brick platbands over ground and first floors.
Moulded wooden eaves cornice to slate roof with end stacks and
ridge stack towards righthand end. Two and a half storeys;
four window front, the single bay to right a later addition in
matching style. Large C19 casements in segment-headed
surrounds on ground and first floors. Narrower bay over door.
Panelled door in second bay from left with wreathed and
radiating fanlight over. Triangular pediment enclosing ogee
panel over on curved braces. Later wings to rear. Two ranges
of farmbuildings enclose rear yard: 2 storeys parallel to
house with 2-light casements above and large covered wagon way
to right. Lower range to right with late-C20 casements.
