GV II

Warehouse, now flats. c1880, converted c1985. Brick with slate roofs. 4 storeys plus attics; 9x12 windows. L-plan. Windows have C20 glazing and segmental heads. Third floor windows are smaller. Quayside front has in the centre 3 windows on each floor and a derrick crane mounted on brackets. Beyond, on either side, a full height recess rising into a gabled dormer, with a reglazed loft door on each floor and blocked ground floor openings. Dormers have a roundel in the gable peak. Beyond again, on either side, 2 windows on each floor, the first floor window to right blocked. Left return has a central full height recess with a loft door on each floor and a crane on the third floor, flanked by 4 openings on the upper floors. To right, a gable with 3 windows on each floor and a graduated triple window in the gable peak.
