Terrace of dwellings. c1830, altered and extended mid-late
C20. Stucco over rubble and brick, concrete tile and bitumen
covered slate roofs, overhanging boxed eaves. 3 storeys with
attic, one-window facade with central full-height bow except
to No 2 which has a 3-window frontage and No 3 which has a
2-window frontage; Nos 2-5 with C20 attic extensions, Nos 6-9
with gabled dormers, facades have their original central
mullion to bow with curved sash windows with glazing bars,
12-pane second and ground floor, 18-pane to first floor,
except for No.2 which has a C20 bay window to ground floor and
12-pane sashes in other windows, Nos 4 & 6 with C20 bow
windows to ground floor, No.7 with full-height canted bay,
sashes with glazing bars and C20 bow window with many paned
fixed lights, No.8 was boarded up at ground floor level at
survey; all late C20 six-panel doors in square-headed or
round-arched openings.
