Three houses and offices. c1800. Brick with ashlar dressings;
tile roof. Georgian style. 3 storeys; symmetrical 7-window
range, centre breaks forward under pediment. Top cornice and
blocking course. Late C19 shop fronts with bracketed cornice
and canvas canopies; windows with enriched spandrels and
friezes; No.2 has entrance to left with radial-bar fanlight
over 6-panel door; No.3 has recessed central entrance with
glazed door; No.4 has recessed entrance to right with
decorative overlight to panelled door. Rear has 2 gables under
hipped roofs with sashed windows. INTERIOR: cornices to ground
floor rooms; Nos 2 and 4 have open well stairs with stick
balusters.
