House. Early to mid C18. Brick with stucco facade; tile roof
with brick end stacks and coped gable. Double-depth, central
staircase plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 5-window range. Top
cornice. Entrance recessed behind doorcase with pilasters and
tall brackets to cornice; panelled reveals and overlight to
half-glazed door; handrails with enriched brackets to steps.
Segmental-headed windows have 6-pane casements with old glass;
3 hipped dormers with small-paned casements. Rainwater head
with later downspout. Rear has 3 gables. INTERIOR: heavy beams
to ground floor; open well staircase with closed string, with
splat balusters, square newels and moulded handrail; some
2-panel doors.
