Cottage. Late C16 with C18 alterations and C20 additions. Timber frame
with painted brick infill and painted brick, tile hung gable and tiled roof.
Rectangular plan, lobby entry. 1 1/2 storeys with 1 gabled dormer, central
chimney, 2 bays of timber frame with 1 storey C20 extension to East.
South Elevation: one casement to each bay flanking central gabled porch
C20 extension to right with door under flat hood on timber posts and casement
window. Interior: exposed chamfered and stopped beams to first floor which
with the chimney is a later, possibly early C18 insertion. Fireplace beam
has 1753 scratched on it. This is reputedly one of the blanket weaver's
cottages after which Weaver's Lane is named.
