Parish Church of St Andrew, Burstock, Dorset

It is believed there was an ancient church on the site until the building of a similarly sized and shaped construction of 1280. The building, as seen today is the result of the almost complete rebuild of c1680.
The middle of the 19th century saw a rather typical Victorian 'restoration' during which the 17th century gallery and oak wall panels were removed, with the walls being plastered, some window stonework being renewed and the current pews being installed.
