Rectangular slate with shaped panel. Relief carving in corners of hourglass with ouroburos and book and scythe. -Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord- (Revellations 14.13) To Abigail wife of Thomas Willson Speight of Bunny d. 21st Mar 1746 in her 24th year. She left a son Joshua and a daughter Ann. -She was a loving Wife a tender and affectionate Mother.She was well instructed in the Principles of the Christian Religion, so was she Constant and Serious in the Practice of it. She gained the Love and Esteem of all when alive and deserves the Imitation of those who survive her. Reader, do thou likewise-. Signed W. Charles Sculptor-. (Photo Mar 2014).
