Detached Cottage. Early C19. Formerly the Keeper's Cottage. Random
rubble-stone walls with brick quoins and window dressings. Thatch roof,
hipped at both ends. Brick stack at centre with 3 flues. 2 storeys.
2 windows, 3-light cast-iron casements in wooden frames. Iron glazing-bars
of vertical and horizontal type with lozenge-intersections. Tension bars.
Front door at centre, plank with strap-hinges, C19. Wooden frame and
brick jambs and head. Interior: flagstones in left room. Doorcase-stair
on back wall. Window-seats.
