Detached House, formerly the Rectory. C17, with C18 front wing and C19
rear wing. Stone walls, rendered and buttressed with 3 sets offs. Slate
roof with stone gable-copings. Stone stacks, at left hand gable, ridge
centre. Brick stack at right hand gable-end, to front. 2 storeys and
attics. East elevation: 3 windows, 3-light hollow-chamfered stone mullions,
with labels over. Upper windows of 2-lights with renewed concrete lintels.
Porch, C19, 4-centred entrance arch with label over and square stops. Door
with bottom panels and 2 lights over, formerly pointed. Pointed-arch
panelled reveals. Interior: large, well-fitting flagstones. Stone
fireplace in north end wall with Tudor-arch head, recess spandrels and
massive stone lintel. Moulded stone jambs.
