Barn dated 1844, built shortly after the Enclosure of 1843.
Local red brick with slate roof. Two double entries facing yard
with eliptical arches. Original doors with 'lifts' slotted into
door jambs below doors. Geometric patterned ventilation holes.
Interior had two threshing floors, roof of six bays supported on
brick buttresses has side purlins with Queen struts. Attached
to the barn to north-east and south-west are two ranges of
stables and a granary.
