C1850-60 pair of 2 storey modest 2 bay red brick houses adapted to workshop use.
Stucco dressings and stucco frieze with console brackets to boxed eaves of
hipped slate roof. Eared architrave windows with cornices, narrower above end
doorways, glazing bar sashes. Ground floor window of No 50 replaced by
corniced rectangular bay window C1890, on conversion to workshop. Doorways
have similar stucco architraves and cornices; 4 panel doors with rectangular
fanlights. Two bay return front of No 50 to Hylton Street has similar windows,
2 blind.
