House. Mid C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Limestone and sandstone rubble,
double Roman tiled roof with raised coped verges, gable stack to south east with
recessed panels and cornice, brick ridge and gable stack. Former through
passage plan, symmetrical front. 2 storeys and 3 windows, all 3-light casements
of 3 panes each with relieving arch except first floor central 2-light, central
C20 door in gabled porch; right return has ground floor C20 window and single
storey addition, left return has 3-light casement with relieving arch at ground
floor and C20 attic window with relieving arch, stepped stonework under verges.
Rear ground floor has two 3-light casements and central C20 window replacing door,
all with relieving arch, first floor has two 3-light casements and central 3-pane
fixed light with relieving arches, single storey addition to left. Interior:
chamfered beams, stud partition to left of passage, C20 stair at rear, site of
original stair front left room.
