Rectory, now house. Early C18 with later C18 and C19 alterations and C20
alterations. Coursed rubble, stone dressings, prominent long and short quoins,
slate roof with raised coped verges and gable stacks. Classical style.
2 storeys and 4 windows, all sashes with horns in raised architraves with
projecting keystone, central 8-panelled door in similar surround with recessed
panels to sides and pediment on moulded brackets; plinth, moulded string course
above heads of ground floor windows, cornice and blocking course; single storey
addition to right with cornice. Right return has varied windows, ground floor
has two 4-pane sashes with raised architrave and dripstone, first floor has 2
sashes to right with thicker glazing bars, smaller sash with margin glazing to
left and two 4-pane sashes at attic level, coping ramped up to central stack.
Left return has at ground and first floor 2 sashes with thick glazing bars, raised
architrave, projecting keystone and floating cornice, 2 similar attic windows.
Rear has central plate glass sash in recessed reveal lighting stair, blocked
window at first floor right, C20 dormer, single storey addition with 3 sashes in
raised architraves with keystone, 2 C20 doors. Interior: shutters to windows,
open-well stair with wreathed handrail and turned balusters, front left room
(formerly 2, now one) with panelled walls, fireplace to rear in moulded surround,
cornices.
