5/148 Strange monument in the churchyard
about 12 metres south west of
G.V. tower of Church of St. Peter

Chest tomb. Late C18. Limestone. Flat top with moulded edge, base sunken in
ground, pilasters with raised panels at corners and centrally to north, paired
square inscription panels to north, large oval cartouche to south with carved
spandrels and moulded rectangular surround. To Thomas Strange, 1771 and other
members of the family.
