Early C19 house of 4 storeys and sunk basement, 5 windows. Multicoloured stock
brick with parapet concealing roof. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash
windows with glazing bars (some renewed). 2nd window from left on 1st and 3rd
floors blocked. 4 steps, with curved, wrought iron handrail, to 4 panel door,
with cornice head and rectailgular fanlight, in deep, panelled reveal. Doorcase
of flat pilasters and curved brackets supporting cornice hood with modillions
and dentils.
Inside, an imported early C18 staircase with alternating wide and narrow spiral
turned balusters. Original, circa 1800 staircase also present.

No 6 forms a group with Nos 2, 7 and 8 West Grove.
