ST 77 NW DYRHAM AND HINTON C.P. UPPER STREET (north side), Dyrham

5/180 Roger's Orchard

House. Early C19 with later alterations. Limestone rubble with stone dressings,
2-span slate roof with raised coped verges and kneelers and diagonal gable stacks.
2 storeys and 3 windows, ground floor has two 3-light casements with ovolo
mullions, hood mould and relieving arch, central gabled porch with pointed arched
opening, pointed arched door with Y-tracery fillets, at first floor 3 gables, each
with similar 2-light casement and finial. Right return has C20 3-light casement
and door, both with relieving arch, first floor 2-light casement with ovolo
mullion and hood mould. Rear has catslide roof to left, additional block to rear
right forming 2-span roof. Interior: not inspected.
