attached wall and gatepiers

Former outbuilding now cottage, with wall and gatepiers linking with
N.E. corner of Brayfield House. Cottage C18 rubble stone, tile roof,
stone coped gables with shaped kneelers. 2 storeys. Door in centre of
S. wall with semicircular arched window above with raised keyblock, imposts
and cill. E. elevation has 2 sash windows on left, irregular openings
on right. W. elevation to yard has 2 doors, 5 2-light casements to ground
floor, with cement lintels and keyblocks, 3 2-light casements to first
floor. Stone arch linking to Stable Block (q.v.) attached to this
elevation. Screen wall at S. end with pair of stone gatepiers in centre
having scroll topped pilasters on inner faces, moulded cornices and ball
finials.
