Pair of houses. Late C18. Sandstone ashlar in narrow courses
with raised quoins. Slate roof with a coped gable and with a
gable stack now only on the left. 3 storeys above a basement
and 4 bays. The windows have plain surrounds, and 12- and
9-pane glazing bar sashes. The doorways, which have doors with
6 raised and fielded panels under a fanlight, the one on the
left with radiating glazing bars, are linked into a central
feature under a single open pediment supported on fluted
brackets above pilasters.
