House, with outbuilding to right now all one. Late C17 with later alterations
and additions. Rubble walls, rendered. Graduated greenslate roof, stone ridge
tiles. Massive chimney to right with paired circular shafts. 2 storeys.
Boarded door with 2 C19 casements to right, 1 to left, 3 above, all with single
horizontal glazing bar and iron catches. Interior has flagged floors; chamfered
beams; muntin and plank partitions to ground floor, lath and plaster to upper
floor; C18 stone fireplace in inglenook which retains timber "heck" partition
and spice cupboard with initials MBG 1691; old plank doors, some with original
timber catches; remains of stone dog-leg stair. Two-storey outbuilding to right
probably originally granary over stable or cow shed, now scullery and store.
Poor condition at time of survey.
