House, C16, C17 and later, restored mid 1970's. Rubble stone with timber
framing to upper storey of northern part. Old tile roofs, hipped to main
block, rebuilt brick chimneys. 2 storeys, with attic in N. wing. Oldest
part is central 2 bay section on east west axis. Restored incorporating
reconstructions of original small oak mullioned windows, copies of C19
casements in east wall, all with leaded glazing. North wing has jettied
gable, close studded framing with angle traces. Stone mullioned window
to ground floor. To south C18 wing, now with exposed stone and modern
leaded windows. To south of this a timber framed bay incorporating old
timbers of former an outbuilding. Interior In North wing 2 fireplaces
with moulded jambs and 4 centred arched heads, probably early C17.
