5/2 Birch Farmhouse
- II
Farmhouse. Late C16 and C17 with C19 refacing. Timber framed and
later refacing of brick, with rendered first floor; old tile roof,
half hipped to left, gabled semi dormer to right with casement, and
large central ridge stack. L-plan. 2 framed bays, with 2 framed bay wing
to left at rear. Lobby entrance type. 1½ storeys. South-east front:
One ground floor glazing bar sash to each side of central gabled porch
with 4-Panelled door under segmental head. C16 wing to rear has timber
frame exposed in gable end.
