8/134 No 2, Seven Gables

GV II

House, mid C19 in Tudor style. Brick, with timber framing to oversailing
first floor, with brick infill of different patterns. Tiled roof, 2 brick
chimneys one with patterns of projecting headers, shaped bargeboards and
finials to gables. 2 storeys. West elevation to road has slightly projecting
gable to RH with 3 light mullioned and transomed window to first floor.
Door in gothic arched opening to LH of ground floor with 3 light mullion and
transom window with segmental arched band on right. 3 and 1 light windows
to 1st floor. South elevation to garden has projecting central section with
gable on RH and smaller hipped gable adjacent to LH, 3 light mullion and
transomed window to 1st floor in each gable, central gothic arched door,
with 3 light arched headed window each side, canted bay window to LH.
All window have diamond leaded glazing.
