House, now public house. C17, remodelled early C19, Coursed limestone rubble:
gabled stone slate roof; brick end stacks. L-plan with rear right wing. 2
storeys and attic; 2-window range. Timber lintel over carriage entry, with C19
plank doors, to left of C20 rendered projection with door and 2 windows. Timber
lintels over late C18/early C19 six-pane sashes on first floor: tall gabled
dormers with mid/late C19 two-pane sashes. Early C19 two-storey range of similar
materials to rear. Interior: deeply chamfered and boxed beam. First floor not
inspected.
