Town house, now shops and office. Early C17, with mid C19 extensions to sides.
Squared and coursed limestone; gabled stone slate roof; ridge stack of stone
finished in brick. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; gabled 3-window range. Hood
moulded over 4-centred ovolo-moulded doorway; C20 shop front. 3-light
cavetto-moulded stone-mullioned windows; similar 2-light windows to 3 cross
gables. Similar mid C19 extensions to sides, of one-window range to left and
2-window range to right. Interior: early C17 house has plastered and boxed beams
and collar-truss roof with butt purlins. C20 rear left wing is not of special
architectural in+crest,
