Cottage. Dated 1759 for Thomas and Martha Webb; later additions and
alterations, principally of late C20. Red brick; plain tile roof with
coped verges on carved stone kneelers. One storey and attic with dentilled
eaves cornice. C20 leaded casements with segmental heads to left and
centre with segmental-headed C20 boarded door to right. Prominent C20
gabled eaves dormer to centre. Integral end stack to left and brown
brick stack immediately behind ridge to far right. Oval-shaped datestone
immediately below eaves to left of centre has inscription "Thos. and
Martha Webb/1759". Prominent C20 additions to rear are not of special
architectural interest.
