Shop and dwelling, now public house. Late C17/learly C18; refronted early C19.
Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; brick end stack. 2-unit plan.
2 storeys and attic; 2-window range, door flanked by 2 fine early C19 bow
windows with glazing bars, hinged opening lights and moulded cornice; C18 plank
door to passage on right; projecting moulded cornice at storey level. Timber
lintels over first-floor tripartite sashes; two gabled roof dormer have 2-light
casements with glazing bars. Interior: boxed beams. Early C19 quarter-turn
stairs in rear wing.
