House, now 2 dwellings. Late C17/early C18, with c.1860-70 alterations.
Limestone rubble; mid C19 stucco with rusticated pilaster strips to left
No.62). Gabled roof, with concrete tiles to left and stone slates to right; end
stacks of stone finished in brick. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window
range. No.60, to right, has segmental stone arches over late C19 panelled door,
tripartite sash and 2-pane sashes. No.62 has late Cl9 four-panelled door with
overlight and two 2-pane sashes. Two gabled roof dormers. Two-store projection
to front of No.62 is stuccoed with hipped concrete tile roof. Early C18
two-store wing to rear right and mid Cl9 wing to rear left. Interior: No.60 has
stop-chamfered beams, open fireplace with chamfered bressuiner to right,
quarter-turn stairs and collar-truss roof with butt purlins. Included for group
value.
