Chest tomb. Early C19. Limestone. Flat top with moulded edge, moulded base,
lyre ends east and west with swags and acanthus, oval inscription panels;
2 panels to south with central panel with twined branches and leaves; 2 raised
oval panels to north with leaves and central phoenix. To Charles Brookman, 1809
and other members of the family. One of a pair of Brookman monuments, the other
(q.v.) lies about a metre due north.
