CHILFROME SY 59 NE CHILFROME VILLAGE

2/12 School House Cottage and 26-1-56 Coach House Cottage (formerly listed as cottage GV 120 yds SW of Chilfrome House)

II Two attached cottages. (Late C17 and C18). Rubble-stone walls, rendered. Concrete tile roofs. Brick stacks at left hand gable, ridge at centre and right hand ridge. 2 storeys. 4 windows, 3-light wooden casements with lead lights. Ground floor left has 3-light stone mullion window, hollow chamfered. C20 metal casements with lead lights. Front doors at left and right centres, left (School House), flush-panel with 2 top lights, C20; right (Coach House) recess-panel with 6 upper lights, C20. (R.C.H.M. Dorset I, p.98 (4).)
