The Old Bakehouse

Cottage. Late C16, with C19 extensions and alterations. Brick over timber frame,
thatched roof. Lobby entry plan with catslide over outshut to rear and C19 bakehouse
at right angles to rear. One and a half storeys, 2 dormers cut into thatch on west
ridge chimney and end chimney to north. West Elevation: 2-lightleaded casement to
left, 2-light leaded casement with cambered head to right; central door in C20
gabled porch. Interior: - timber framing exposed throughout cottage, 2 bay frame
with soot blackened rafters in north bay.
