House. Late C16 and C17 with minor C20 additions. Timber framed with
angle braces, white painted brick nogging, some tile hanging and
rendering; old tile roof, gabled cross wing to west with roof swept
down over entrance and staircase block in angle to north, and large
central ridge stack. One framed bay with 2 framed bay cross wing.
2 storeys and attic. North front: tile hung C20 first floor to left
with small casement, and small ground floor casement beneath; 2-light
casement in attic of cross wing to right,2-light first floor casement,
and 3-light C20 ground floor bowed casement; C20 boarded door under
lean-to to left with small casement above. South front: 5-light ground
floor casement to right and 3-light casement in rendered first floor
above, tile hung first floor and attic in cross wing to left with 2-light
attic casement, 3-light first floor casement and 3-light ground floor
casement with C20 glazed door to left. Block to east: timber framed with
angle braces, white painted brick nogging; hipped tile roof and 2 dormers
to south with 2-light casement. 2 framed bays. 1½ storeys. South front:
3-light casement to left and small casement to right. Interior: contemporary
fireplaces remain.
