C17 farmhouse with an original 3 unit plan and lobby entry, extended to the west
and north in C19. Two storeys and attics. Rendered timber frame, steeply pitched
slate roof with large ridge stack to left of centre, and end stack to east, both of
C19 brick. One flat roofed dormer window with modern casement. Three, 3-light
casement windows at both floor levels, and wide plank door. Stone and brick founda-
tions. Interior has 2 inglenook hearths with stone jambs and the remains of a baking
oven, raised and fielded panelled doors with original hinges and handles, and exposed
and boxed ceiling beams.
