Public house. Early C19 with C17 remains. Square limestone with stone
slate roof, hipped at left. Two storeys with attic. Three bays. Windows
sashed with glazing bars except for the middle bay, which has a casement
window with glazing bars on the ground floor. The right-hand bay has a
single-storey square bay window on a stone base with a pitched roof. It
has two sashed windows facing forwards and one to each return wall. To its
right is a short length of hood mould of C17 type. One attic dormer. Right-
hand gable coped with chimney. Door, between first and second bays, has
chamfered surround. Left-hand return wall, facing north, of limestone rubble
on ground floor and brick above.
