Flour-Mill, water-powered. Mid C19. North elevation: rubble-stone
walls, slate roof. 3 storeys. 3 windows, 3-light cast-iron casements
with glazing-bars and centre opening lights. Brick dressings and
segmental window heads. Centre first floor has a 2-leaf plank door
to a loading bay. Attached store at right hand, 2 storeys. 3
windows. Ground floor has 2 segmental-headed openings, and a C20
door with glass lights. 2 light casements above. Bridge on south
elevation, spanning the mill-leat, segmental brick arch with
rubble-stone walls above. Brick parapet copings. Machinery: overshot
iron wheel, made Beaminster 1866. Iron sluice-gate control
immediately before the wheel.
