House. Early C18 with early C19 and C20 alterations. Brick, painted
stone dressings, shallow-pitched roof, gable end stacks. Three storeys,
stone parapet, moulded stone cornice, chamfered quoins. Five windows:
flush-framed glazing bar sashes, 9-pane to second floor, all have rubbed
brick heads with fluted keystones. Central entrance with tripartite,
pilastered porch; segmental pediment above, narrow 3-pane side-lights;
6-panelled door. To left return front a two-storey early C19 bow window
has been added with three glazing bar sashes to each floor. Interior:
staircase with three balusters to the tread (twisted- columnar- twisted)
and carved tread ends. (BoE p 133).
