SP 1037 BROADWAY CP HIGH STREET (south side)

House and shop. Probably c1700 with late C18 additions. Limestone rubble
with stone slate roof. One storey with attic. West wall has canted bay
window on stone base with stone slated canopy. To its right are a doorway
and window with plain reveals under the same lintel, and a 2-light chamfered
mullioned window at the right. To the left are two windows with plain reveals.
Between them is a doorway with chamfered surround and canted head. Three attic
dormers have casements with leaded glazing. Adjoining at the left is a taller
addition. This has a door with plain reveals under a stone slated canopy. Left-
hand gable coped. Chimney behind ridge towards right. The left-hand (north)
gable, facing the street, has a canted bay window on a stone base on the ground
floor and a first floor window with plain reveals and keyed lintel.
