C17 but rehandled as country house circa 1840-50 with Gothicised details.
2 storeys stone rubble on plinth. E front with wider outer bays, all
3 gabled with saddlestones and finials. 5 stone mullioned and transomed
windows in splayed reveals, drip moulds and stone relieving arches above.
2 storeyed porch, pointed arched doorway with drip mould. Steep pitch
gable end slate roof. Stone chimneys with offsets. Situated in fine
position near hamlet in Sidbury Parish to north east of Sidmouth.
