SU 6471 THEALE HIGH STREET (north side)

House, now offices. Early C18 and early C19. Red brick with some tuck pointing,
and hipped old tile roof.L-plan with later wing set back to right. 2 storeys.
Plaster plat band to left, dentil brick eaves cornice, stack to at rear, and
end stack to right. 2 bays to left, glazing bar sashes with exposed wooden boxes,
that on ground floor to left with segmental head. Ground floor C19 canted bay
window in right hand bay. 3 bays set back to right with glazing bar sashes, one
ground floor tripartite sash in 2 bays to right and 5-panelled door to left with
glazed upper panel and rectangular radial fanlight. Ground floor 3 bay C19
cast iron verandah with decorated spandrels and tented canopy. Small first
floor sash and ground floor canted bay in left-hand return front. Included
for group value.
